Looking back now, the decision to change a career and the fact that I chose Portnov Computer School for that is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.

Deciding to change a career and start a path in a completely new industry was one of the hardest decisions that I made and to say that I was not skeptical at first would be a lie. Like anyone who has been working in a different profession and jumping into a new path, I had so many doubts, so many questions, would I understand it? Would I ever be successful? Would I get a job? … a lot of questions.

Looking back now, the decision to change a career and the fact that I chose Portnov Computer School for that is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. This school has changed my family’s life to the better. My sister studied here 5 years ago, and she is currently a senior QA engineer in a big company in the Bay area.

Up to date curriculum, flexible schedule, incredibly supportive and talented teachers, information on current market trends, guidance and follow up until you land a job is only a few of the reasons why I feel so strongly about this school. Every single one of the teachers here are skilled and know their stuff incredibly very well. I would like to thank Janna, Olga, Tanya and Sofia for supporting me through this Journey. Special thanks to Sofia Pravdina who makes wonders in matching everyone with an internship either internal or external. The school’s good relationship with a lot of companies in the Bay area and across the country is also an asset. The external internship position that I just landed on is a great example for that. I am beyond grateful for what I have got from Portnov .
