After being a stay at home mom for a decade, I decided to return to work and explored a new career. My friend recommended me to Portnov Computer School after her success in her new career in SQA. I took the courage to go for it despite my old age and commitment to my family. After all the perseverance and encouragement, I did it.

I honestly had a great time learning at Portnov. The teachers (Janna, Olga, Tanya, Galina and Sofia) are all wonderful and full of passion. They not only gave us extra classes to complete the course but also gave me one-on-one attention from their personal time. They not only taught me the technical skills that are needed to be a SQA Engineer, they also taught me how to ace the interview.

I also wanted to thank Sofia Pravdina who helped me with job placement. Right after the SQA course, I was given multiple internships/projects where I could work in a company to gain real working experience.

Last but not least, I want to thank Mikhail Portnov. He gave me personal attention on how to improve my resume and jobsite profile. He even gave me good advice when I had multiple offers.

I highly recommend Portnov Computer school to my friends. Everyone there is so supportive and they have lots of resources for me to further my skills too. I will never stop learning and I am going to take an advanced course (in Test Automation) there.
